MGMT 5014 Tedarik Zinciri Yönetimi İlkeleri

In this course, students examine the elements of integrated supply chain and related management functions and are exposed to the value of aligning supply chain management goals with corporate goals. Students completing this course have a well-rounded knowledge of the responsibilities and current tools of operation and supply chain required by managers in all industrial sectors. The impact of Logistics and Supply Chain on traditional supplier & purchasing functions will be addressed in this course and the impact Business-to-Business, (B2B) activities have had on Marketing & Sales as demand is created through a “Pull” system as opposed to a “Push” system.

MGMT 5015 Tedarik Zinciri İşlemleri, Lojistik ve Dağıtım

This course is an introduction to the physical distribution aspects of supply chain management. The student gains an understanding of warehousing operations including receiving, storage, order filling, and shipping. Students are introduced to the concept of outsourcing to third party logistics firms and the inherent advantages and opportunities including vendor managed inventories and shunting services. Effective methods of evaluating and selecting different transportation and warehousing options are also covered. Material handling technology, packaging racking, safety, quality, labour efficiency, and layout and design of warehouses are explored. The course also examines emerging technologies such as radio-frequency (RFID), electronic product code (EPC), and voice directed activities. The impact on the Financial and Cost functions of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), will also be addressed with particular emphasis on the impact of the logistics and supply chain management functions.

MGMT 5013 Malzeme Yönetim Sistemleri

This course is an introduction to the handling and control of physical materials. Material management is the process by which an organization is supplied with the goods and services required to achieve its objectives of buying, storing, and moving materials. The inter-relationship with planning, producing, storing, and providing the appropriate material of right quality and quantity at the right place and time so as to co-ordinate and schedule the production activity in an integrated way is examined. Students are also introduced to warehouse management software. Sales Forecasting and Inventory Management Systems will be addressed with relationship to MRP Systems.

MGMT 5004 Nakliye Sistemleri ve Lojistik

This course introduces students to the different modes of transportation that can be used individually or in various combinations to ensure freight is transported in the most efficient and effective means from shipper to receiver. Students learn the strengths and limitations of each mode of transportation in order to use that information to make recommendations and decisions that increase utilization and operational efficiencies.

MGMT 5005 Tedarik Zinciri Risk Yönetimi

This course introduces students to the need for business continuity planning. Supply Chain Management practices have evolved toward more lean process approaches in order to reduce waste within the overall supply chain. Concepts such as just-in- time, virtual inventory, supplier rationalization, and reductions in the number of distribution facilities have reduced total supply chain costs, but the result has been increased risk. In this course, students are introduced to risk management tools and techniques used to limit risk affecting the quality and financial performance of organizations.

COMM 5001 Etkili İletişim ve Profesyonellik

This course addresses the essential elements of effective professional communications and the expectations of employers. Emphasis is placed on practical business communication aptitudes including research, organization, logic, composition and speaking skills. Students also explore the impact of leadership when communicating with others. The effect of power, status, and leadership styles in the motivation and empowerment of employees is also addressed.

COMP 5001 Lojistik ve Tedarik Zinciri Yönetimi için Bilişim Uygulamaları

This course is designed to teach advanced topics of Microsoft Excel 2013 to handle many of the daily information requirements of organizations. Excel is also a powerful decision making tool for managers often helping them solve complex business problems. Using Excel within the Windows 7 environment, students will use various arithmetic, statistical, logical, financial, optimization (solver) and modeling functions. Emphasis is given to real world examples including business facility capacity allocations, forecasting demand, aggregate planning and ordering simulations.

MGMT 5007 Üçüncü Taraf Lojistik (3PL) ve Dağıtım Merkezi Yönetimi

This course is an introduction to the methods to effectively produce and distribute the goods and services sold by a company. Students will gain an understanding of the importance of lean supply chains, distribution and transportation, forecasting and inventory management to maintain the sustainability of a company. Students are introduced to the concept of sales and operations planning. Effective methods of planning and control of supply chain processes and workcenter scheduling are also covered..

MGMT 5008 Arz ve Talep Yönetimi

Proper supply and demand planning requires a combination of informed judgment, business acumen and expertise, and the application of available forecasting techniques and models. Sound inventory management is usually the critical factor toward realizing effective supply chain management. This course will demonstrate how to balance inventories so that profit maximization objectives are achieved.

MGMT 5009 Stratejik Satın Alma

In this course the student will be introduced to strategic sourcing applications and techniques used to enhance both supply chain flows and financial performance. Learn how to "get the most for your money" while maintaining strong and capable supply partners.

MGMT 5010 Uluslararası Lojistik ve Gümrük Yönetmelikleri

Students must understand the realities of the global business environment and the various complexities involved in international trade. Through lectures, discussions, projects, presentations and content delivered from a Canadian perspective, this course helps students to recognize issues and to prepare for the new international business realities.

Students will research, prepare, and present in-depth analysis of a current managerial problem facing health care administrators. Students are expected to apply a wide variety of concepts presented in other courses including the impact of the problem on human resources, organizational culture, leadership, finances, operations, policy and strategic operational goals.
